Liquidity Provider Guide

bridge/docs/lp-guide.md · commit e561109 · 2026-10-23

Deposit Ethereum MRV into the Minerva Bridge Liquidity Vault and earn ETH rewards for supporting bridge liquidity.

LPs supply the real Ethereum MRV released to users who bridge native MRV from Minerva to Ethereum. This is not wMRV and not a minting bridge.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals use a request and cooldown flow. Shares pending withdrawal do not earn rewards and their estimated MRV is excluded from available bridge liquidity.

Rewards

ETH rewards are time-weighted. For each epoch:

your reward = funded ETH for the epoch × your share-seconds / all share-seconds

Shares earn from the moment they are active (deposit, cancelled withdrawal) until they stop (withdrawal request). Funding that arrives during an epoch is weighted over the whole epoch, so depositing just before a top-up earns only the seconds after the deposit. An epoch with no eligible liquidity rolls its funding into the next epoch. Claims cost gas proportional to the number of epochs since your last interaction, never to the number of depositors.

The interface shows three separate numbers: funded ETH for the epoch, your estimated allocation (changes until the epoch ends), and claimable ETH. ETH that comes from a treasury or incentive budget is labelled as an incentive, not as bridge revenue.

Risks

Bridge liquidity is not unlimited. Transfers from Minerva to Ethereum depend on available Ethereum MRV in the vault. If one-sided demand drains liquidity, LP withdrawals can be delayed until liquidity returns.
